Engineering Project Manager

I was offered a contract opportunity to work as an Engineering Project Manager for brytemove and was able to work with companies like ABB, Penske, Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, Rivian, and many other companies & utilities related to electric vehicle infrastructure.
My role was nearly unlimited, handling ADA compliance, utility coordination, design enegineering revisions, site layout and drawings as well as customer-facing project management.
Operating in a hybrid capacity with 90% remote work I was able to improve my management skills for a fully remote team of 20+ people.
2020-2021
General Manager
Crestline Village Water District
Crestline, CA
My role as General Manager of the District gave me a fantastic view behind the curtain of California's water concerns and helped me to grow into a more thoughtful Manager.
During my contract, I took on the responsibility of daily operations and long-term planning for a water district serving 5,000 connections, as well as specialty reporting and State regulation response and management.
I had the honor to oversee a team of 27 amazing and hard-working individuals during my time, and my love for management has never been stronger.

As part of the family at Crestline Sanitation I have been allowed to work both as a field employee maintaining critical systems as well as in a managerial role, handling budget preparation, employee and project management, contractor oversight and SCADA system engineering.
I served as both Union Secretary and later as Union President during my tenure.
I was entrusted to manage systems responsible for State reporting, employee access and alarm codes, Union negotiation information and much more, and I feel a strong loyalty to the District and its systems.

Joules Electric is an amazing opportunity for me. Beyond residential and commercial electrical work, we offer industrial automation integration throughout California, focusing mainly on Water and Wastewater utility/ public works contracts. The breadth of our services has led to market that we've been pushing electrons around for 20 years!
My role as owner requires that I work on everything from the technical aspects of the integration and beyond into employee and contract management, public works documentation, contract negotiation, AR/AP and equipment and supply stock.

TDT Productions handled many aspects of media and presentation, largely acting as an event management company for live theatrical performances. Additionally, we offered photographic, videographic and audio services.
One of my favorite aspects of this business was getting to record in my home studio, and the associated listening.
2008 - 2009
Design & Installation Technician

Working for eTech brought new challenges and learning related to electronic and video systems.
Some projects we took on included the full wiring and integration of a 3-camera studio for Los Angeles Valley College, where my role was to repair over 2,500 connections that a sub contractor had incorrectly terminated. From there, my electrical experience was utilized for many projects as I continued to troubleshoot, maintain and build live production rooms.

Travelling across the country with Berg Events took me from one coast to the other, handling the load-in, technical management and customer interfacing for professional conferences.
My role included everything from unloading the truck, setting up the audio, video and lighting systems and managing the full show. I also handled the cleaning and repair of all systems to keep shows from coming to a halt.
2006 - 2008
Plumbing & Electrical Technician
Aquatic Quality Assurance

Aquatic Quality Assurance hired me to install plumbing and electrical control systems for commercial pools and spas across the State, and included high and low voltage systems.
Some of the work included interfacing with other trades on large projects and coordinating with safety oversight groups, as well as crane and heli-crane installations for high rise pool installations.
2001 - 2006

Bradshaw Electric gave me my first experience as an electrician, and I grew from an apprentice to a Journeyman, proving my experience by obtaining my contractor's license and a reputation of quality.
My role was initially as a laborer, learning the trade. By the end of my tenure, I managed multiple electrical installations and assisted on troubleshooting and customer interfacing. I handled parts ordering, full wiring management and planning, and assisted on inside plant 25kV modifications.
